Terms of Service

Before ordering, please read our ordering and delivery terms. When ordering from our online store, you accept the lawful Terms and Conditions set forth by the consumer agency to online retailers and the Terms and Conditions of OAC Finland. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase products from our online store. Those under 18 years of age may only order with the consent of their parents.

You can place an order online by using the online store order system. When ordering from the online store, all personal information must be correct in order to assure proper delivery of the order. To create an order, transfer the desired product or products to the shopping cart, go to the shopping cart page, accept these Terms and Conditions, fill in the contact information requested on the form, select the payment method, and accept the order.

If for some reason it is not possible to place an order from the online store, you can also contact us by email or telephone during customer service hours.

To place an order you will need a valid email address. We will provide you with: an order confirmation and additional payment details.

After placing your order, a binding order confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. If you notice any incorrect information, please contact us by email immediately by replying to the order confirmation email. Please remember to keep the email thread when replying.

OAC Finland reserves the right to change prices and terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis.

Should the customer choose to create an account, the customer is responsible for their own account and password.

All trading follows the trading instructions issued by the Consumer Agency to Online Retailers.

The minimum order value is 10 euros.


The price of a product is the one that shows in the online store at the moment of purchasing. Other fees are shown during checkout. Heavy or large deliveries can have extra fees. Any extra fees will be shown during the checkout process.

In the case of obvious pricing errors, OAC Finland reserves the right to cancel the order. Examples of obvious pricing errors include:
- A price listed as 0,00 or no listed price at all
- If the price of the set of skis worth multiple hundreds of euros is listed for 29,90 (i.e. - mistakes in decimal places)
- In other cases where the incorrect price shown differs so much from the actual price that the customer could suspect a pricing error.

Delivery Time

For orders being shipped within Finland, the normal delivery time is 1-2 days after dispatch. For orders being shipped to all other countries, the normal delivery time is 5-14 days after dispatch. Orders being shipped outside of the United States or Canada are normally dispatched within 1-3 working days from when we receive the order payment. Orders being shipped to destinations within the United States or Canada are normally dispatched within 3-10 working days from when we receive the order payment.

For orders being delivered outside of the Finland, the transit time may vary greatly. The customer is responsible for all customs, import, and other associated fees and taxes. For more information, contact your local customs and/or tax authority ahead of time. If the product needs to be processed and cleared by customs, the customer is responsible for each and all cost and understands that customs can cause delays in delivery.

If there is a significant delay in delivery, OAC Finland will attempt to contact the customer by telephone or email. OAC Finland reserves the right to separately deliver products that have been ordered at the same time.

If you have been waiting an unusually long time for your order to arrive and have not been contacted by OAC Finland, please begin by checking the order confirmation email and/or order tracking number for the delivery times for each item. Should this not resolve the problem, please contact us directly by email at info@oac.fi.

OAC Finland reserves the right to cancel product orders if necessary. In these cases, the payment is refunded within 14 days.

Delivery Methods

The order is generally delivered in accordance with our Delivery Terms. We reserve the right to change the delivery method if the situation requires. 

Delivery to home address by Posti 

Products will be delivered directly to the provided address via Posti . The order will be delivered to the customer on a weekday. In larger cities deliveries are possible until 21:00. In other areas, deliveries are possible until 14:00. The delivery provider will try to contact the customer via phone to arrange a delivery time. For this reason, it is mandatory to provide a telephone number when placing your order. If the customer cannot be reached after two telephone call attempts, a call request card will be left at the delivery location in order to arrange a delivery time. The delivery service includes one delivery. If the shipment cannot be distributed within or at the agreed time, the customer is responsible for any costs associated with a new delivery.

Third Party Delivery Services (i.e. - FedEx, GLS, etc.)

Products will be delivered directly to the provided address via the delivery service provider. Shipments may be delivered on weekdays and possibly Saturdays, depending on the delivery provider. It is possible that the delivery provider will try to contact the customer via phone to arrange a delivery time. For this reason, it is mandatory to provide a telephone number when placing your order. It is also possible that a contact card is left at the delivery location in order to arrange a delivery time. This card often requires a response from the customer. The delivery service includes one delivery. If the shipment cannot be distributed within or at the agreed time, the customer is responsible for any costs associated with a new delivery.


It is not possible, under any circumstances, to pick up orders directly from OAC Finland or its distributors. 

Shipping Costs

Generally, delivery costs are fixed at  20 EUR/25 USD/30 CAD for orders containing skis and 10 EUR/12 USD/15 CAD for orders not containing skis. 

On rare occasions, the delivery cost may vary depending on the final shipment destination or products ordered. Shipping fees will be clearly shown during checkout before the order is submitted. Invoice fees may be added in addition to the fixed delivery fee.

Delivery times

In general, it normally takes 1-2 working days after dispatch for deliveries in Finland to arrive at their destination. For orders with a destination outside of Finland, the delivery times vary greatly depending on the delivery service and final shipment destination. Orders are normally dispatched within  1-10 working days. 

Payment Methods
We offer multiple payment options. Through our payment provider, Shopify Payments, you can make card payments with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Additionally, you can also choose to pay via Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal.

Please note, refunds via Shopify Payments routinely take between 3-7 days to complete, based on the transaction times of your bank.

Credit Card Payments

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards. The online store uses Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, Discover ProtectBuy and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Shopify Payments appears as the payee on the card invoice and forwards the payment made by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

PayPal Payments

PayPal stores and protects your credit card details, so you don’t need to enter the details each time you make a purchase.

You don’t need to have money in your PayPal account to make a purchase, as you can link a payment card to your account.

Payments are made in the same way whether you have linked a card to your PayPal account or transferred money to it.

The user confirms each payment using an email address and password.

Whether you pay by a card linked to your PayPal account or use your PayPal balance, paying by PayPal is free.

When paying with PayPal, your delivery address must be the same as the address you have registered with PayPal.

Canceling an Order

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel an order once it has been submitted. The order must be returned in accordance with the customer return instructions described below.

Customer Returns and Refunds

The customer has a 30-day right-of-return for products ordered from the online store. We do not accept returns on Skinbased products purchased elsewhere. The product must be returned in the same condition in which the customer received it. Returned products must be unused and in their original sales packaging. All product parts and pieces, instructions for use, and any other literature must also be returned. The packaging must be intact and the product must not show any traces of use. The product must be contained in its original thermo-plastic packaging and not be wet, damaged, or soiled in any way. Under no circumstance can the returned product be used.

If the product returned is deemed unsellable, we cannot refund the price of the product in full. In such cases, the amount refunded will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

The right of return does not apply to business-to-business sales.

As a general rule, we do not charge a restocking fee for returned items. However, when returning discounted or discontinued products, we charge a 50.00 EUR/CAD/USD restocking and handling fee. This fee will be deducted from the original purchase price at time of refund. Additionally, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and/or other third-party fees. OAC Finland will not reimburse any additional fees, levies, or taxes that the customer incurred or incurs. Lastly, we will not reimburse the customer for the cost of shipments posted to OAC Finland or its distributors.

Payment will normally be refunded within14 days of receiving the return shipment, but may take longer in some circumstances.


We warrant our products for a period of twelve (12) months from the original purchase date and only to the original retail buyer.

The warranty does not cover normal normal wear and tear of the product. It also does not cover damage occurred by inappropriate/insufficient use, maintenance or storage. 

The product will be repaired or replaced the discretion of OAC Finland. We reserve the right to require proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

OAC Finland respects our customer’s right to data privacy and take our responsibility of storing collected data seriously. We use the highest measures of security on all the data we process. Lastly, we offer all customers the right to access their stored data and to opt out of data collection at any time.

All customer information is used and stored by OAC Finland in a system which requires a username and password to access. The only time third-parties have access to your information is when we need to transfer information to them so they can complete a specific task - i.e. for storage, analytics, or marketing. There are strict agreements with all our partners which take into account the requirements of the law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Under no circumstances do our partners have permission to use the information for their own purposes or to share the information.

OAC Finland does reserve the right to share personal and other customer data with the authorities in the event of a violation of law. OAC Finland also uses personal customer data for its own marketing purposes. In these cases the customer has the right to refuse the marketing whenever they want.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The world of commerce is rapidly changing and new opportunities and regulations appear quickly. OAC Finland actively follows these trends, and reserves the right to make changes to its online store, its policies, and its Terms and Conditions at any time. If changes occur, only future orders will be affected.

Force Majeure

OAC Finland is not responsible for any damages or delays caused by an event of force majeure. Examples of these events beyond our control include, but are not limited to: natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, or fires, human-caused events such as wars or riots, or system failures such as labor disputes or electricity-grid failure.


OAC Finland is not responsible for indirect damages unless they are caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Potential Disputes and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are made with consideration and in regard to the Finnish law.

If disputes between seller and buyer cannot be resolved by negotiations between parties, the dispute will be resolved in local court near the seller.

If a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiations between parties, the customer should first contact the Consumer Advisory Service (https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/). Following this, the matter can be referred to The Consumer Disputes Board (http://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/).
